Bag of Beans Cafe and Restaurant, Inc. is a family business founded in 1998. The company opened its first branch on Aguinaldo Highway, Mendez Crossing West, Tagaytay City, primarily offering English pies, breads, and coffee.
Starting with less than 10 employees, family members actively participated in operations. The owner personally baked bread and sourced materials and ingredients. At that time, Bag of Beans was a quaint garden-style coffee shop with just eight tables.
Over the years, Bag of Beans gained popularity among locals and tourists, earning their trust and loyalty. To accommodate growth, the menu expanded, transitioning the coffee shop into a full-fledged cafe and restaurant. Despite facing significant challenges that nearly led to closure, the support of family and friends enabled the business to overcome these hardships. Today, Bag of Beans proudly operates five branches within Tagaytay City, with our newest branch in San Diego, California coming soon!
With over two decades of history in one of the metro’s favorite vacation spots, Bag of Beans is now considered an iconic must-visit destination in Tagaytay.
